Purpose
Like many people, every year I make donations to charity. For years, I contributed to a well-known charity, until I did some research, and realized that only $0.72 of every dollar I donated actually went to service programs. So, I switched to a charity that spent $0.87 of every dollar on service programs. I felt like that was a good decision for me. However, I soon began receiving mailings, which I didn't need. I didn't want my donation being spent on printing and postage.
That's why I started Donoro.
Donoro's purpose is to help smaller non-profits use digital tools, like email and Facebook, to improve their financial efficiency. Donoro does this three ways: lower expenses, improve top-of-mind awareness, and increase small dollar donations.
