Our Story
Peter Parker's uncle said, "with great power comes great responsibility." This was Spiderman's motivation to donate his time to do good. We're the same way. When we have the financial ability to make the world a better place, in a way that hits home for us, we do it. It's how we live our values. It makes us who we are. It's our superpower.
Charities bring people together to do great things for a cause about which they deeply and personally care. However, many small and medium sized charities don't have the time or resources to most efficiently reach all their potential donors--especially their smaller donors. They're thinking about a couple key questions.
One questions is, "are we using email, text, search and social media to cost-effectively get our message to the right person at the right time?" For instance, which of our donors prefer receiving digital communications versus paper in the mail? Can we immediately save on postage and printing? And, since the cost of digital communications is less than printing and postage, would our donors appreciate both more personalized and possibly more frequent communications?
Another key question is, "are we using our social media accounts to effectively engage with donors?"
Most charities have a website to collect donations online, social media accounts to connect with their donors, and the ability to send email. However, many charities don't have the time or expertise to best use digital to reduce costs, build top-of-mind awareness and increase donations. This is how Donoro helps.
